Credit to Neoxenok on giantitp.com for the original work, mainly here to check balance and see if any revisions need to be made. I may go into other aspects of the project, maybe even seeing on expanding on what the member started, but for now I am focusing on archetypes and the Shadow Adept PrC with related feats.

I am open for advice, suggestions, or help... perhaps even in finishing the project started by Neoxenok since they never did, but first checking to see what they have already created is good. Original source can be found here, for any interested in checking it out in full.

You're welcome, I wasn't expecting to be thanked for posting this.

By the words 'looks good', do you mean that the archetypes and PrC look balanced to you?

Sovereign Court

some thoughts went into this, it's looking good at first glance, might need to read it more in details to give a more critical opinion.

They all look pretty cool. Warlocks seem a hair unbalanced though.

6 at will Spell like abilities seems unbalanced.

also permanent buffs. I know it hinders their blast but with a proper spell selection (Especially if you pick the right bloodline to exploit all those at will SLA powers) this just amounts to perma-buffs.

Seems a bit OP to me.

I really like your conversions though.

Credit for the conversions go to Neoxenok.

What thoughts would you have for fixing up the balance a bit on the Warlocks? Perhaps adding in something it to prevent permanent buffs, maybe a revising of the wording would help.

well the issue I think is that the classic warlock had his eldritch blast as his primary offence. As a sorcerer archtype deminishing eldrich blast as a resource for a persistant Buff isnt limiting because sourceres have other offencive options that even outshadow eldrich blast.

Maybe limit it to one perma buff that lowers the eldrich blast damage by the level of the buff.

Perma buffs coupled with the perma buffs you already get from the magical insight ability makes for an uber buffed monstrosity.

Limit the magical insight to divination maybe?

As for the SLA powers maybe limit them to third level.

I would ditch resiliance seeing as how many Sorcerer bloodlines get a similar ability and this would lend to the flavor of the patronage if it werent just a static sort of bonus there just because.

Also this Archtype gets allot for trading off almost nothing.

Still considering how I should handle revisions to the Warlock archetypes.

Anyone want to offer thoughts and comments involving other features of this conversion?

Has there been any work on the races, such as the saurials?
