1st level PFS equipment question

Let's say you start off with a Fighter, buy him some chainmail, a greatsword, bow, ect.

Then, after one session, decide you'd rather try a sorcerer.

I know you can recreate your character before 2nd level, but does that include basic equipment? Can I effectively hit a "reset button" on purchases? If not, are there rules on selling equipment you don't want anymore?

Mostly yes

If you bought and used things like arrows, wands, potions, alchemical items, they are used and and can not be unused.

So if you bought a quiver of arrows and used 3, you still have 17 arrows.

Other, non consumable items, yes go ahead and get the full money back for em.
