Greensnake Naga (Oriental Adventures pg 173)
CR 1/2
Str +2; Dex +4; Con +4; Int +2; Wis +2
Naga Telepathy
Naga Poison 1d3 Temp Con damage (DC 12)[?]
Alternate Form (Humanoid Legs)

We are playing at level 1 and going through till roughly lvl 12-13
This is a 25 point buy
I want to use the classes Magus (Kensai) gestalted with Factotum, one of the best classes in the game.

We can take two flaws (3.5 rules) I was gonna take Font of Inspiration for both Flaw feats.

Magical Talent (Shocking Grasp) as one of my traits I get 2.

I am not sure what I should use my first feat for.
I plan on getting Flamboyant Arcana and Arcane Deed Precise Strike when I get to the right levels for them.

I wanted to know the best way to maximize this guys potential in both combat and Skill Monkey/Facing.

The party I am gonna be with is a Swashbuckler//Warpriest (With Dynamic Priest for Cha Synergy) and a Slayer//Bloodrager (Likely going the Spelleater Untouchable route)

You want Magical Lineage, not Magical Knack.

You can do much nastier than the Factotum for gestalt. An Int-based Caster will do more, honestly.

If you're going Dex based your first feat should be Weapon Focus (and you should drop a Font for Slashing/Fencing Grace). Otherwise you have a lot of options depending on how you want to build.

If you've got 3.5 stuff on the table, a metamagic-heavy build focused on Shocking Grasp is... ridiculous. 30D6+30, damage against living targets is multiplied by 50%, ignore elemental resistance and half damage through immunity? Yeah that's plausible. With a first-level spell slot.

Thank you I forgot which one they where.

Factotum is just nasty due to the level 8 ability for an extra standard action. Adding Int to AC, Attack, Saves, Knowledge Rolls, Dex and Str based skills and rolls.

Iaijutsu Focus is also a good way of adding damage.

The Factotum is a strong class, certainly. But compared to what you can get from getting spells at a decent rate alongside useful class features... not great.

Really, since 3.5 is an option, just pick up Contingency and the Celerity line for the same thing.

The Int focus... Magus can handle half of that (AC and Attack), which really just leaves Saves and skills. Saves are significant, skills... not so much. Don't get me wrong-- it's a solid combination. But if you want to max him out, not the strongest.

I did miss the ending-at-13 thing. With that...

Wayang Spellhunter (Shocking Grasp) + Magical Talent (Shocking Grasp) + Arcane Thesis (Shocking Grasp) = Intensified Empowered Enervate is a first-level spell dealing 15D6, +50% damage to living targets (you might want to talk to your GM about how Empowered and Enervate work together). You can add Twinned to make it a 4th-level spell for 30D6*1.5-- and, significantly, Spellstriking it twice.

I like Sage Sorcerer so you can take Arcane Fusion-- that would bump you to 45D6*1.5 and three Spellstrikes per casting of the spell. That's a lot of boom. Even without Arcane Fusion it'll do a lot of damage, but that spell just pushes it over the top.

Keen Intellect is also an awesome feat if your GM is crazy enough to let you have it. Int to... everything that uses Wis, basically.
