spell mastery as a substitute for a spellbook

can a wizard use spell mastery feats to eliminate the need for a spellbook?

in other words, the wizard would choose spell mastery multiple times, effectively making the spells chosen into a "spells known" list.

He can burn as many feats slots as he likes on Spell Mastery. It's still a finite limit on the spells that can be stored though.

Yes if he is level 20 with int 38(20 start, 5 for level, 5 for wish, 6 for headband and 2 for old age) and retrain every feat he have he Will know (14x14) 196 spells+ read magic by heart.
I wouldent reccomand it.
