Confusion Immunity?

Advice

I'm trying to find a way to make four characters immune to confusion for a short period - doesn't have to be more than one minute. Does anyone have any good ideas for this?

I can use any spell from any spell list except summoning spells, or any non-artifact magic item. Planar binding and Planar Ally are on the table. Feats, traits and summoned monsters are however unfortunately not an option.

The only thing I've found so far is Calm Emotions. This is an option, but duration: Concentration is a bit of a problem.

I found one spell called Ceremony that does this for days/level (max 5) for creatures/level (max 10)... but it requires resources.

As in Ultimate Campaign Kingdom making resources. The kind of strategy game resources that are in units like this: "10 Goods, Labor, or Influence or 2 Magic". I think there are rules for what each of those resources technically entail (a set price thing)...but still, it sounds like a lot since this is the version of the spell meant for a big expensive ceremony (it is a level 1 spell, but that is most likely for the lesser version without the resources, which hours/level on 1 creature and for a different effect). You are going to have to look into those numbers yourself to decide if this is worth it.

You also need cleric/oracle/warpriest that worships a deity with the void domain. I am not sure how much of a problem that is (quick search says there are only 2 very niche deities with that domain that are not cosmic horrors and the like) but you need a level 5 one on hand every 5 days, depending on your circumstances.

That's brilliant! Seeking out clergy of the Black Butterfly makes a lot of sense for our characters, since we're about to fight some fairly high-end representatives of the Dark Tapestry.

Thanks! :)

You could also make the whole party vermin, undead, oozes, etc.

Oh wait here we go: Padma Blossom.

Just grasp it hard.

Certainly something to put on someone with 'snap us out of it duty'. It not only keeps that person sane, but allows them calm emotions.

If anyone has a monkey familiar, or maybe one of the improved familiars for wand use... well, you have a nice little solution.

Or you could technically get a hireling to do it (since it just plain stops things and casts them without class features)...but I am not sure how well they would fare against shambling horrors from beyond the stars

Confusion the condition, or Confusion the spell.

If it's the spell, Spell Immunity Communal, and you are done.

I had hoped to find something that helps a wild rager not slaughter his party but this seems less than ideal, suppressing moral bonuses.

Confused the condition, unfortunately. Basically we're trying to tick off as many conditions as possible before a rather harrowing fight. Fear, Confusion, Stun, Daze, Grappled, Staggered etc. Most of them have a fairly simple solution but Confused was proving tricky.

Would not make them immune but make the results less severe:
Azata's whimsy

Great, now I am imagine a nice, bombastic speech where a lot of weird metaphors are used with little or no real meaning.

Basically, a motivational speaker. "SOMETIMES YOU JUST GOTTA GRAB THE BULL BY THE UDDERS AND SO THAT WE CAN STAB THEE WITH HELLS FOUNTAIN PEN FOR SYNERGY!"
