Oils, familiars and PFS

Which basic familiars can be used to apply oils to the player?

GM fiat based on whether they feel they possess appendages sufficient to do the administration. Opposable thumbs may or not be required depending on the type of container.

As far as PFS, I believe using oils falls within the general restriction on magic item use, although there's perhaps enough wiggle room for a GM to allow it in some situations.
