Any way to get traits from same list?

Rules Questions

Is there a way to get two traits from the same list? Two from Social, or two from Race, etc?

Which ones are you looking at specifically? There are several of them that actually show up on multiple lists (like Reactionary and it's +2 Init also shows up as several racial traits, which you can take with Adopted).

I'm being stinky and looking at the social traits that let you replace CHA with INT as the base for skills. Bruising Intellect, student of philosophy, etc. Which is probably the reason it looks like you're not allowed to double dip.

You could always ask your GM about it. Maybe, instead of having traits, he or she would let you take them both as a feat.

I share your dubious desires sometimes.

However, I don't think that's the cause of the rule; those traits all tend to be much newer than the "one per category" rule.
