Summon Monster IX, is there a reason there's no Neutral Evil monster?

Advice

So, I know daemons are a thing, and I know Summon Monster IX is a thing.

Two of my bad guys get summon monster IX as a spell like ability and I'm trying to find the best use of it. Problem is, there are no neutral evil things that exist on that list and the bad guys are both neutral evil.

One is a warpriest and must only summon one thing. For the other, I am probably going to bring in some Fiendish Tyrannosauruses, like 4 or 5 of them.

Am I missing something? What would the best choice be for an evil blessing warpriest?

It is probably because when SM IX was written there was no appropriated neutral evil monster available.

And fo the last question, the best choice is whatever choice that make the fight at hand easier to win. Most NE would not worry about that.

Part of the reason there are no neutral evil things on the list (besides fiendish things) is that Daemons did not exist when the list was made. Same with Agothians (NG outsiders).

That said, the ACG did help fill out the SM lists. The Ring of Summoning Affinaty (Daemon) adds Thanadaemon to the list at 9th (and others at lower levels).
