I think dipping in to oracle for sidestep or lifelink would be awesome! But maybe i'm getting hyped up over nothing. I like being the front line tank with boss ass saves. I'm looking for a class to dip into that would bolster that role. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I'm a lvl 10 sacred shield right now deciding to what to dip into. (paladin will stay main class)
Honestly, I would recommend Unbreakable Fighter. Free Endurance and Diehard. If you already have those, you'd want to retrain them to something else, but hey, 2 extra feats, +2 Fort save, +1 BAB… not bad for 1 level.
A level of Oracle for dexterity -> charisma is always potent. Noble Scion of War for initiative. However if your ability stats are already set then it isn't going to have the same impact as building around it to begin with.
A level of Cleric or Separatist Cleric can grab some great domain powers. Most level 1 powers aren't worth it, but the Gentle Rest power from Repose is godly for tanking. Crusader Cleric will open up a free feat as well.
Either option loses a point of BAB, but on the up-side gives saves a little boost.
