throw anything net, and weapon sizes

Rules Questions

Does a the Throw anything feat allow me to use a weapon normally? For instance, if I use throw anything to throw a net does it act as a normal net and entangle? Or does the Throw anything feat only work with "improvised" weapons meaning that they will deal damage based on their size and not the weapon statistics?

No, it does not. The Throw Anything feat only refers to improvised ranged weapons and thrown splash weapons. The feat would not allow you to remove the non-proficiency penalty for using a weapon that you were not proficient in.

Improvised weapons refer to objects which are not designed to be weapons.

In your scenario, assuming you are not proficient with a net, you'd have a -4 penalty to hit with the net, and it would function as it's described in the rules, i.e. entangling the target.

So if I throw a great axe and I am not proficient with it. It would deal damage as what? Technically I can't throw a great axe because it is the same size of my character. So the throw anything feat would not allow me to throw a great axe. That would be the two handed throwing feat. But even then I still wouldn't be doing great axe damage with the weapon because I am not proficient with a great axe. Is this right?
