Creating characters after reporting does not link games anymore

I GM'd and reported a lot of games with several characters I have not added yet. Due to the new reporting bug I added those characters quickly and I noticed their sessions are not linked with the already reported sessions on that PFS#.

This is important because I give out new PFS#'s so I can report games without waiting for people to get back to me after they create their character. I've always told people they can create their account with their card and the session I report will automatically be linked to their character.

Bugs that prevent a coordinator from reporting games are really bad because often times coordinators do not have the ability to get more information, especially at conventions.

Terek, did you do this recently? We added code that does not allow reporting if all characters are not registered (or are registered for a different program, etc., we're going to be releasing code that will mitigate that somewhat in the case of unregistered characters, as it's turning out to be too restrictive). Given that unregistered characters should prevent the session from being reported, I'm curious as to how you reported the session.

No, it was done before the core campaign changes.

Ah, that would explain it. More difficult to assess the historical issue given that that particular part of the code has been extensively rewritten with the recent updates. We will be testing that scenario with the new code for certain.

I need to clarify... Reporting the scenarios for those characters I never created happened before the core changes. When I found out that characters had to officially be created in order to report now I just created the characters really quick so I wouldn't be a part of the problem of why my group can no longer report scenarios.

Then the characters should already exist (be registered) and linked up. When you reported the session it did not show up on the characters you created?

I created characters 10-20 which I already had reported games on last year (I accidentally made one a core even though the scenario was run before core was available). When I click on sessions on the character I go to a screen that says "Your Search did not match any items".
