Hi,
I saw multiple threads on this issue and I wanted to make sure this is legal in PFS. Can a insect or plant based druid, that is also a Sylvan Sorcerer cast Enlarge Person on his insect or plant companion?
Also, how many times can a weapon be enlarged from spells. For example, can a Druid that enlarged themselves then use the Shillelagh spell? Also, if there is another effect that makes the weapon count as a size larger, can the druid use that as well, so the weapon is now effectively 3 times the original size?
Thank you.

for quite a few tables - most in my experience
Enlarge Person is NEVER a candidate for Share Spells, regardless of plant or vermin
Share Spells (Ex): The druid may cast a spell with a target of “You” on her animal companion (as a spell with a range of touch) instead of on herself.
(for sylvan sorcerer generally that 'druid' is changed to 'sorcerer')
The first requirement of the spell is target of you - the target of Enlarge Person is 'one humanoid creature' - that is not a target of 'you' that is a target of 'one humandoid creature.'
Windy Escape and Shield are examples of a target 'you'

The druid may cast a spell with a target of “You” on her animal companion (as a spell with a range of touch) instead of on herself. A druid may cast spells on her animal companion even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the companion's type (animal). Spells cast in this way must come from a class that grants an animal companion. This ability does not allow the animal to share abilities that are not spells, even if they function like spells.
So:
1) The druid may cast a spell with a target of “You” on her animal companion (as a spell with a range of touch) instead of on herself. This allows a Druid (or other class with Share Spells) to cast spells that normally only affect themselves on their Animal Companion.
2) A druid may cast spells on her animal companion even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the companion's type (animal).
This allows the Druid (or other class with Share Spells) to cast a spell from their spell list that normally has a limitation to, say, humanoids, like Enlarge Person, on their Animal Companion.
Unless, of course, you can find me a Personal range spell that also has a limitation as to target other than You.

That trick, or even having an animal companion at full power, requires that they be available on the same list.
*digging digging diggin*Ok, Vermin companions are just flat out available for druids. The wording of the sylvan sorcerer ability makes me think they're available for sylvan sorcerers as well because its an open critter list. Its on both lists so you're good.
Also, how many times can a weapon be enlarged from spells. For example, can a Druid that enlarged themselves then use the Shillelagh spell?
Thats a matter of more debate. I think you're good with one actual size enlargement, and one "as if x sizes bigger" effect.
Also, if there is another effect that makes the weapon count as a size larger, can the druid use that as well, so the weapon is now effectively 3 times the original size?
I think it would depend on the effects.
Welcome to PFS and welcome to the non humanoid pathfiners union. Please take a card

Including the full ability makes it clear why this isn't the case

While they both have a target of you, they do not depend on type. That reading would make the italicized portion of the ability completely superflous. There may be one or two recent spells that are type dependant AND have a target of you, but they're not what the rules were written for. Share spells has two seperate and distinct clauses in it : you can ignore the you requirement and you can ignore the creature type requirement.
