Spending our gold, killing casters!

Advice

Starting at 5th level, myself and my girlfriend are building our characters around the concept of being mercenaries who fought in the Modernists-Magi War(home campaign setting, old war between tech oriented society and mages). They worked both sides of the field, serving as hunters and assassins and especially, serving to track and kill mages who had gone rogue. She is the hunter type of role, skilled with magic but moreso with her archery. I am built towards stealth and brute strength, a combination of sheer viciousness and shadowy cunning. As "icons of destiny" our DM is giving us each a unique piece of equipment catered towards our character's personality and role in the game, and as such, Lyrial, my girlfriend's character has a quiver of arrows that is infinite. I haven't been told what my character's "icon" item will be yet, but I will assume it is something shadow/stealth related.

With that in mind, we need help deciding what to spend our 10,500 gold each on, for our characters. I have 5th lvl Bloodrager(Primalist/Steelblood) who is built around a reach build using a Horsechopper and going into Shadowdancer at 6th level. She has a 1st lvl Wizard/4th lvl Ranger(Wild Hunter) who is going to take the rest of her levels as Wizard until her BAB qualifies her for Arcane Archer. We would both be very appreciative of the help in choosing what to kit our characters out with.

No suggestions as to any items/equipment that would be best to buy with the 10,500 gold we each have to spend?

Well it depends. The simple standard answer is
For you
2k magic weapon
1k magic armor
1k cloak of resistance
2.7k for shadow armor
2k ring of protection
the rest you spend on consumables

For her the same but drop the shadow enchant and pick up a +2 stat item

Edit: Also if think you will be fighting a fair number of arcane casters a brooch of shielding is a good idea

What he said. Also, bracers of the falcon and hedge wizards cloak.

Hedge wizard cloaks are great value and add some flexibilty but a cloak of resistance will pay for itself in saves vs spells.

Wouldn't the armor cost 3,750 gold plus the cost to make it +1? That seems like quite a big chunk of the starting gold for just his armor, unless I'm reading something wrong.

Grand Lodge

+1 armour is only base price + 1000. Shadow armour on the other hand is pricy. It is a lot to spend on one item.

4750 for just the armor, though not too too bad is a very large chunk out of the 10,500 that I start with. I could probably get away with getting a basic +1 Horsechopper to start with, and get the Cloak/Ring combo, if I've enough money left over. I'll have to math-crunch when I've got some time.
