witch necromancer

Advice

Id think a witch could make a pretty wicked save or die character necro with evil eye and whatnot but I've never seen it suggested. Any reason why?

I see a smart weak person who can bluff there way out of trouble. the biggest problem is i really dont want the army of undead mostly so the dm doesn't hate me. Not sure how to get around that without gimping the character. Thoughts?

Mostly why it's not suggested, way of the wicked is about you being indeed evil and operating in a LG nation. Walking around with corpses/undead is a very easy way to be noticed by all the good-hearted people of Talingarde but anyway...

Samsaran Gravewalker Witch with the Mystic Past Life, grab utility or necromancy spells from the wizard spell list that you would be missing or not have access to normally, good luck in your endeavors.

That's great solves a big problem i was having of some missing spells. Cheers :)

Im thinking ill max charisma and only use one big badly as a minion to keep the gm pain to a minimum... although a horde if bleeding skellies does sound fun.....

Why when everyone says necromancy they mean hordes of undead?

My advice is be a necromancer but focus on the the de-buffing and death side of necromancy. You can also abuse Magic Jar and animate. Just make sure you kill those undead before you leave or just leave them in the dungeon to kill hapless adventurers that come here later. Just make stronger ones later.

When you not casting your hexing with Sleep, Misfortune, Evil Eye, and Scar. You can be cooking and eating people. Get gruesome with it or down right creepy.

Having 1 powerful undead is always an option. Just make sure he can't make more undead under his control. Because it will be a snowball effect once he does escape your command.

The problem is that you actively give up things to get the spells that directly involve controlling the undead, so to not do so then is a nerf to your character. I think that's why most people "want" to control a horde of undead. I'd rather play the character without the undead honestly, but don't want to nerf my dude.

What about one powerful undead who doesn't look like an undead either by magic or as a feature of that undead.... any suggestions for that?
