A question on healer 's blessing

Do I get the added hit points when I use a channel postive energy? Or is that on spells like cure etc....

just cure spells, not channeling. So any spell with the word CURE in it's name.

Any spells or abilities that restore hit points do not add any excess as additional hit points, temporary or otherwise.

If a spell grants hit points of any kind, it will specifically say so. see Bear's Endurance as an example of this.

Ok so I can level my cleric to 7th...so another question...do I go straight cleric or add a level of Oracle and take life with the ability to heal with attacks of opportunity and extra channels...

Caster Optimization Rule #1: Never give up a caster level

Seriously, don't multi-class a caster unless you have a really really really good reason, and even then think twice before doing it.

No, you don't want to multiclass from Cleric to Oracle.
