Leave and returns to its shape or returns to its original form in front of the PCs and leaves?

I'd assume leaves first, as wandering the halls of the Sanctum of the Sages would be awkward in dragon form.

I ran it as she leaves the hall, the doors are ajar behind her and the party can glimpse her turning into her natural form and going TIME DRAGON OUT from a distance.

As far as I know her true form is not a secret. I believe she outed herself in Destiny of the Sands part 3.

She may or may not in destiny. Anemopheus s han solo impersonation made droppong trough unnecessary most times i ran. She does show her scaley hide in becon below.

I ran this recently and just said that she left (walked out). Later, when they used the item at the end they spotted her in Dragon form - this proved more of an oooh moment.

I don't think there's any 'correct' way of doing it though.
