I'm looking at running the Realm of the Fellnight Queen module over Valentine's Day weekend for our local PFS group. The module's store page has links to extra encounters that were cut due to page count. Can these be added back in to make it more fun for the table, or do I need to stick strictly to what is in the published book for the players to receive society credit?

I'm curious about this myself, as well as how to handle the random encounters suggested by some modules. I've only run one, From Shore to Sea, and the players there specifically asked that I make it as difficult as possible so I included the ancillary material and random encounters (and still failed to challenge them except for one encounter with some phase spiders, I believe).

I forget exactly what the extra information was. But you ARE allowed to add roleplaying details (and even encounters) and purely flavour encounters. I'm pretty sure that the extra material had some of those.
But, as people have said, this can run a bit long. So be careful doing that unless you have extra time or your group is fairly quick.
