Okay, so I've got a campaign idea, but no time to actually build a dungeon for them to crawl through, as I have back to back classes until tomorrow afternoon when I GM this campaign for them. Sadly I can't push the campaign to another day because one of my friends who came to visit will be returning to military service the next day, and I wanted to do this for him because we haven't played with him in ages.
I just need ideas or single ready made rooms and I'll be able to stick them together in between classes. It's only a one-shot, so a small 10 room dungeon should suffice, but I'll take anything you guys give me. Group is an equal blend of combat, story, and puzzle lovers. They will be playing 5 level 12 characters looking for wealth and glory.
Plot: Human lich wants to die. He's lived far longer than he thought he should as a human and wishes to pass into oblivion. His elven graveknight wife however, doesn't wish him to go (twue wuv). Being an elf, she is used to her longer lifespan and so thinks he is being crazy and unreasonable for trying to leave her all alone, so she stole his phylactery and run off into a local dungeon. Though the lich could easily reduce her to ashes, he does not wish to lay a finger on her. He has destroyed countless innocents, but he will not lay a finger on her. So he has hired adventurers to retrieve the phylactery for him. He understands if she needs to die to do so, as perhaps it's also her time, but he just won't do it himself (twue wuv again).
So where has the elven graveknight holed up until her darling comes to her senses? Help me random board lurkers. You're my only hope.
