Dhampir Cleric FCB + channel smite + bless equipment Duration?

Hello,

I have a question about this combo I ve gathered for this character (you can see the build here.

So there is the facts, with a dhampir that took positive channel:
Dhampir cleric getting FCB each level:
Favored class bonus :
Cleric Add +1 to the caster level of any channeling feat used to affect undead.

The intersted part for the question:

So at level 3:

Your effective level for channel energy is 3.
Your effective level for channel smite with this channel energy is 3+3(fcb)
So at lv 3 you smite like a lv 6 = 3D6 vs undead and channel like a lv 3: 2D6

Would this allow the bless equipment to last 3 rounds instead of 2 at lv 3?
Channel smite is still channel energy but used differently, but that's where i am not sure if this works or not by the rules?

Short answer - no.

Long answer - Channel Smite is not your Channel Energy ability. It is a feat which uses charges from your Channel Energy use pool. So no, the bless equipment is specifically focused on your Channel Energy ability.


This means that oracle's channel revelation increased by +1/2 per level( FCB) would increase the duration, and variant channel that halves sometimes times could actually affect it too

Same for the phylactery adding +2D6, it would increase duration by 2?

But not for a feat that can increase in this special case the number of dice you can hit with every specificity of your channel energy: sad :(
