I kind of have always wanted (by that I mean over the last year since I'm new to tabletop RPGS) to play as a rogue who focused on not killing people with his shortswords or daggers, but disabling them with his sap using non-lethal damage. If anyone knows of a build that is already out there that would be great, otherwise if someone wanted to help me flesh this out that would be equally great. As I said I'm new to the world of Pathfinder and many of the mechanics so any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi.
1. You posted on the wrong forum.
2. The Sapper Rogue is one of the most popular builds because of its ability to deal a ridiculous amount of damage with little effort. It has some issues though, such as trying to defeat undead or constructs. There is not much you can do about it, but it's better than anything.
3. The big feats here are Bludgeoner, which allows you to deal nonlethal damage with any bludgeoning weapon, which opens up a few possibilities (like using Unarmed Strike and dipping in a few other classes to exploit that; or getting proficiency with an Earthbreaker for massive damage, and what not), and then Sap Adept and Sap Master that exponentially increase your damage.
4. Next you decide how you will get to sneak attack. An Unarmed build can take the Scout Archetype and Pummeling Charge to apply sneak attack easily. Another build might want to feint, intimidate or flank. Yet another kind of build is the one that uses the Underhanded talent to max the sneak attack damage while attacking with a hidden weapon -- for example, a Sap hidden through sleight of hand, or perhaps attacking from stealth, or even maybe taking Eldritch Heritage (Shadow) for a nonlethal touch attack that no one sees coming.

It is confusing to use "sapper" when describing a character who uses a sap.
I thought this was about a combat engineer which are known in a number of militaries as sappers. Since the historical use of the name is for people who sneak up (often by tunneling) to fortifications to disable them, maybe a rogue/alchemist would fit.
