Whirling Dervish Swashbuckler Questions

Two big ones right now. One, Is there some trait or feat that helps with dealing non lethal damage, especially at first level? Two, what skill is used to get people to surrender?

Blade of Mercy works well for nonlethal.

Diplomacy or Intimidate can both work for making people surrender.

You can also take the Bludgeoner feat, but Blade of Mercy actually works better.

If you decide to go bludgeoner, you can use your swashbuckler's finesse with a morning star, and as a Whirling Dervish allows you to do dex to damage with it at 4th level.
