Can a Bloodrager's spell last past the duration of his blood rage? I would think the answer might be Yes (but, the description of Greater Bloodrage makes me think unfortunately the answer is No). As a case in point, he can cast Phantom Blood which lasts 10 min./level. It would seem not highly valuable to use a spell slot to use such a spell once per battle. I suppose he could buy a scroll with it on it, go into a rage right before battle, and cast it.

You don't need to be Bloodraging to cast spells as a Bloodrager. You also aren't required to cast as spell on yourself as a free action when entering a Bloodrage, once you have that ability.
Bloodrager spells, cast under normal circumstances (ie: the same as everyone else) last the duration they say they will in the spell description.

Interesting, I didn't interpret the rule that way, but now that I reviewed the text again and see the words "even while bloodraging" I think what you say makes sense.
I guess I interpreted it a bit too strictly. If that's the case, then his spell abilities and options are a lot more flexible than I first thought.

Taking "even while bloodraging" as "only while bloodraging" isn't "interpreting too strictly". That's not what "strict" means.
