Bless Weapon and Fortification?

Hello, I had a question regarding the Paladin spell "Bless Weapon" and how it works against an evil foe with Fortification.

According to the spell description; "In addition, all critical hit rolls against evil foes are automatically successful, so every threat is a critical hit."

So, for an enemy with fortification, do you still roll the percentage of the critical not landing, or does bless weapon bypass the protection from fortification?

Fortification still works. Paladin just don't need to roll to confirm their critical hit, they still have a chance that their critical hit becomes a normal hit.

A critical hit is only a critical hit once the threat has been confirmed. Bless weapon automatically confirms a critical hit vs an evil opponent. Since the fortification nullifies an actual critical hit, not a threat fortification works normally against bless weapon.

What they said. Fortification only negates successful critical hits. Bless just automatically confirms a critical threat, but thats it. Fortification applies normally.
