People of the Stars Races

So I just got 'People of the Stars' and started reading through the races outlined in it (gotta say I am a huge fan of the Kasatha design) and realized that none of the races have any physical statistics or outlined age categories.
The Androids entry mentioned they 'live' for roughly a century and then their soul or whatever leaves their shell and a new one moves in and the Kasatha mention their adolescent quests but that's it.
I understand that since this is a Player's Companion that not all the non-game mechanic details could make it in, but when I started thinking about making a character with any of these races I couldn't decide on a personality, habits, quirks or flaws because I couldn't come up with an age.
Also, I know that all the races in this book are medium-sized, but how tall are the Lashunta compared to Humans, heck the man and women of that race are called out specifically for being drastically different.
Again, I apologize for running on for so long, and I could just make a character and say they are middle-aged and average height and enjoy the experience just fine, but character weight and height come up often in the games I'm a part of, so it bothers me slightly.
If anyone could alleviate my concerns I would very much appreciate it.

The stats for those races appear in a few other resources such as the Bestiary 4, Distant Worlds and the Numeria Campaign Setting. I'd have to dig out my copies to tell you which is in which one though but you might want to check into them to get more info.

And none of those sources give exact age, height, or weight data.

They also don't list what kind of cheese they want a burger. At some point you the player or GM should use some creativity and fill in the blanks.

Dark Archive

Fires of Creation has the age categories for Androids.

IMO, that's not really fair, considering that the vast majority of player races have that data. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that what's presented as a player race have the same data as other player races.

Since you're quoting me, may I ask what you are asking about specifically? You've tacked on to another person's complaint without naming specifics.

Android age categories are located in (at least) Iron Gods 1: Fire of Creation, the first part of the adventure path.

Can fend for selves at birth, usually take 2-5 years to feel truly capable.
Random age: 2D6 years.
Middle Age: 32 years.
Old Age: 50 years.
Venerable Age: 65 years.
Maximum Age: 65 + 2D10 years.

Androids are like the Time Lords from Doctor Who. Upon reaching maximum age, or after dying of conventional means that don't obliterate or otherwise mangle the body, once their soul has fully passed on they "Regenerate" entirely after 2 to 3 weeks of being 'dead' in a process called Renewal.

Basically their nanites "reboot" the body and build it to its original youthful state... with a little randomness thrown in (there's an journal entry quote by a female Android who states her 'father' was the previous inhabitant of her body--meaning it gender swapped upon Renewal). Not entirely unexpected if skin, eye, and hair color changes too. Unlike the Time Lords, no memories or experiences survive, the Renewed Android is a level 1 whatever and even has a new soul (the original having moved on to the Boneyard, which must be quite the shock).
So, functionally, it's a completely different being, just having recycled the pseudo-biomass.

Don't have data on the other races handy at this moment. I seem to recall male Lashunta being about 2-4 inches shorter than the average human with the females being taller. That may just result in the males using the female human height with the females using the male height. Like I said, don't have that handy, but I'm sure someone will fill you in.

Triaxians are exactly like humans in regard to height, weight and age, if that helps:)

The issue was that People of the Stars did not have enough information about XX. You said that people should just fill in the blanks themselves. My point was that with most other races, people did not have to fill in the blanks themselves, so it wasn't unreasonable to expect the same treatment here.
