Selecting Advanced Talents multiples time.

So, someone is trying to tell me that the can select an Advanced Rogues talent, and by extent regular Rogue Talents multiples times, because Advanced Rogues talents don't specifically state that you can't. Please let me let him understand that that is not the case.

Seems pretty cut and dry that you can't select an individual talent more than once since it very specifically says so in the description.

Gaining the Advanced Talents class feature gives the rogue the OPTION of choosing an Advanced Rogue Talent instead of a Rogue Talent at every 2nd level. It says nothing about allowing the rogue the option to choose the same Rogue Talent again.

No, you cannot select a Rogue Talent or Advanced Rogue Talent more than once except if the talent in question says you can, such as Ninja Trick.
