Fast Healing / Regeneration vs Bleed

Rules Questions

Do Fast Healing and/or Regeneration (which are not Supernatural) count as "Magical Healing" for the purposes of ending a Bleed effect? What if these abilities are granted by a spell or magic item?

A related question: Does Restoration (a spell with the Healing descriptor that does not actually heal hit points) end a bleed effect?

An even better, more succinct question: what exactly counts as magical healing for the purposes of ending a bleed effect?

Hmm... Wondering if this got missed, has already been answered, or just no official ruling.

To my knowledge there is no official ruling.

I would say as long as the source of regeneration or fast healing is supernatural, spell like, or a spell it would count as magical for ending a bleed effect.

So only extraordinary sources of regeneration or fast healing would fail to end bleed effects.

I see... That's a bit odd, since a Troll can bleed out but a Wizard who uses Giant Shape to become a Toll...

Still, thanks for the reply. If there's not official ruling, I think you're probably right - "magical healing" lacks a definition, but your interpretation makes sense.

What about restoration or other healing spells that don't actually heal HP? Any thoughts?

As usual I agree with Claxon. I am starting to suspect that he can read my mind... Better start wearing my tinfoil hat!

EDIT: Or just cast mind blank on myself... Hmmm... Better do both just to be safe. STAY OUT OF MY HEAD!!! :D

Personally speaking I would houserule differently than what I understand RAW to be. I would probably houserule that extraordinary regeneration also stops bleeding.
