Ultimate Campaign question

We are using the Kingdom building rules for a campaign. Also, I wanted to run a business using the rules from the downtime section of the book.

What experience have people have using this book? I'm playing a Magus this time around. What are some fun stuff to do with this book?

I once ran a kingdom, and was a PC in a kingdom campaign, a modded-out Reign of Winter. Neither had downtime, and I was In fact a magus too, coincidentally. Kingdoms go very well with mass combat, and I would suggest doing those and normal PC quest stuff, as well as downtime. I like the idea of investment downtime, maybe you should let your GM let you do it with BP...just out of curiosity, what position do you hold in the kingdom?
