Advice


I am currently going to be reading all the material published (guides and such) for the Numeria Iron God campaign.
In this I will be the GM and depending upon who shows up, I may have to control an NPC for balance.

Does anyone who has run this campaign have any advice before I sink my teeth in?

Things you have come across and needed to trouble shoot at all? I know somethings are very specific to the PC and those that play, but anything helps xD


Be very, very careful with any DM NPC you create to tag along. You do not want a show stealer.

My person fav for the DM NPC is the an Oracle with the Deaf curse. Good supporting and healing abilities...and can't chat to non-Party members who don't know there sign language.


I wouldn't make a character that has the ability to identify everything. Finding things that are normal to us but fantastic in a magical fantasy setting is a big part of the fun in this adventure. Let your players have that "eureka" moment when they figure out that they're holding a fire extinguisher, or a flashlight. Having an NPC that just tells them such things robs them of that.
