I posted this on Reddit, but haven't gotten much response yet. Maybe I'll have more luck here?
I'm starting a game this week with a level 10 inquisitor. I would like some opinions on my spell selection. I want have a somewhat good spread of effects. There is also an oracle and a wizard in the party. Favored class bonuses are included. Good Hope is from Shelyn.
1-Divine Favor, Expeditious Retreat, Heightened Awareness, Litany of Sloth, Remove Fear, Shield of Faith, True Strike, Wrath
2-Invisibility, Lesser Restoration, Remove Paralysis, Resist Energy, See Invisibility, Silence, Spiritual Weapon, Tongues
3-Burst of Speed, Dispel Magic, Magic Circle against Evil, Prayer, Terrible Remorse
4-Divine Power, Good Hope

Burst of spped seems like a waste. For starters, you don't often have swift actions to spare. You've also got expeditious retreat, which also makes you faster.
Remove paralysis seems of little use. You can't cast it on yourself, and how often do you need this? I vote buy a scroll instead.
There are a lot of strong choices. I like divine favor, shield of faith, true strike, lesser restoration, resist energy, and tongues. Dispel magic is a good spell, but potentially something the other casters could take care of.
I would highly suggest heroism and greater magic weapon.
And, if memory serves, divine favor and divine power don't stack. Go with divine favor.

Can we get some more info?
1. Are you melee or ranged?
2. Are you sneaky?
3. Is this for a dungeon crawl, or an investigation?
4. What are your strong skills?
1. Sacred Huntsmaster using a reach weapon
2. Not particularly3. It's an adventure path, so neither? and both?
4. I maxed perception, spellcraft, and a couple other things. No social skills since they seem to worthless with the GM. I also put a lot of points into monster knowledges.
And, if memory serves, divine favor and divine power don't stack. Go with divine favor.
The attack and damage bonuses do not, since they are both luck bonuses. Divine Power is strictly superior due to the extra attack and temporary hit points. Both are small duration, so they'll need to be cast at least once per combat. I really like having both, at least until I get more fourth level spell slots.
I was considering dropping Prayer for Heroism since the Oracle has it.

Prayer is also a luck bonus, i'd make that switch.
I'm of the belief that for a 4th level spell, you don't get enough from Divine Power. Ask the wizard to cast haste more often.
Are there only three characters?
Other spells that might be nice include knock and searing light. You're without much of a ranged option, and i'm not impressed with spiritual weapon.

I would seriously consider getting blistering invective if you have any investment in to intimidate. The fire damage is paltry, it's the 30' aoe intimidate you're after.
I would also second greater magic weapon and also magic vestment. 3000 for a lesser rod of extend spell will serve you just as well if not better than paying to keep your gear up to snuff with those two spells.
Finally, even though it's a swift action, Littany of Sloth is great for getting by nasty things. In a pinch you can also use it to attempt combat maneuvers, especially if you buffed with True Strike the previous round.

Seems a pretty good list to me.
I like the litany spells, though inquisitors often have a lot of demand on their limited swift actions.
I agree that remove paralysis is probably not a good use for a spell known. UNLESS you know the campaign is going to see a lot of creatures that paralyze. In which case it is golden.
I prefer communal protection from evil rather than magic circle against evil. That way your allies don't have to stay right next to you.
Actually, I generally love the communal buffs.
I like the level 0 sift spell. Especially if you have a high perception (which most inquisitors do).
I agree to drop prayer since the oracle has it.
Might consider dropping dispel magic, if the wizard is willing to prep it most of the time. Otherwise keep it. It is a nice spell.
A ranged damage spell would be a good idea. Searing light is one of my favorites, especially if expecting undead.

@Anonymous Visitor: There's also Channel Vigor as a third level spell. Divine Power scales higher than Divine Favor though. There are tons of 4th level spells I'd want, so you're probably right. There's a couple other characters, a fighter and a fighter/rogue/swordlord.
I considered Searing Light also and have a really hard time picking 3rd level spells. There are so many good ones. I have an adaptive composite longbow as a ranged weapon at the moment. Something targeting touch would probably be worth it though. I wanted spiritual weapon because it deals full damage to incorporeal creatures and I didn't have the gold left over to get something with ghost touch.
@Darigaaz: I love blistering invective, but I have zero investment in intimidate for flavor reasons.
@ElterAgo: I really, really like the duration on magic circle over protection.

Perfectly reasonable. There is a case for either.
My groups just never seem to want to stick together and so my celestial sorc's Magic Circle often ends up protecting only me. So I might as well have just used the 1st level protection from evil.
Edit: Might also consider switching Divine Favor for Ear-Piercing Scream. Almost nothing is resistant to sonic damage.

After thinking about it, it does seem like a good call if only because there are so many good 3rd level spells to get.
