I am looking to start a d20pro pathfinder game using skype. I am pretty new to d20pro so I have not figured it all out yet. I think that using just the map and using home dice (as long as no one cheats) and skype for the rest works best for me.
If you are interested please PM me or respond to this thread.

Just to put it back in rotation I will post again. Also more information.
I would like to run a more sand box game guided by players choices and what they want to do. I have pretty wide variety of maps on d20pro so it would be pretty easy to run this kind of game any time.
I would not mind running Iron Gods but I will take me a little more time to set that up. I would also have to reset some of the stuff I have done and I would rather not until they get the multiple campaigns up.
I gave 3 guest spots so you dont have to have an account

Hi. I'd be interested in playing in your game if the day and time work for me. I currently run online games using d20Pro and Skype on Saturday afternoons and Sunday evenings. Like you, I mostly use d20Pro for maps, tokens and handouts. I participated in the d20Pro Unlimited Kickstarter and am waiting to install the v3.4 legacy program once it is released.

I am still looking. Right now it looks like Friday evening.
I would like to run a sandbox campaign set in a Absolom to start . part investigation nior part dungeon crawl.
I have been working a little bit more then usual this week so I have not work on it to much.
If you have any suggestions or character concepts for this campaign post them here. I always find it easier to find a story for the charaters when I know the charaters.
You can also email me at

I am sorry I have been off much work as been busy lately. But I have been thinking on the game and I would like to try a few things that I have not done before. Also if anyone has the time tomarrow to meet up on Skype get to know each other and make charaters and stuff that would be great. I have a large bottling run tomarrow (I work in a brewery) but I should be home before 7pm.
My email address is Kevinsmitter@gmail.com and I use the same name for Skype.
So some thought on the game.
I would like to try hero points, I usual use plot twist card but that is not possible on d20pro right now.
I will not use wareable Stat buff magic items (headband, belts but not books) at all. To mitigate the effects of thier absence we will use 4d6 12 time reroll 1s. You should end up with great stats and Stat buff magic item won't be as important.

Did not get everything in the last post.
The game will work better if alignment stay out of the evil range.
Starting gold 500
The frist game will investigation so perception sense motive bluff and knowledges will all be helpful. I will try to keep the games varied so if that's not your bag you can still enjoy the game (I hope)
Let me know if you can join me on Skype tomarrow around 7pm. I have 3 guest seats on d20pro but I have been thinking about expanding it.

I could be interested in this. I'm running a few games over skype and maptools, and do not have a d20pro account, but could learn to use it pretty easily most likely. Friday nights could be good for me if we run something like 7-11pm EST.
Did you mean 4d6 minus lowest or 4d6 (getting a 4-24 range)?

4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 6, 4) = 14 reroll 1d6 ⇒ 5 15

Brother Fen there is still room. I have 3 guest seats on d20pro so I still have room. I would like to play iron God's too. I am waiting for everything to be out for it and then I can start putting everything in to d20pro. This 1st game I would like to learn more about how to run a game in d20pro.
Reckless I think that class will be OK. I am not seeing what the Maneuvers are just that they have them can you tell me a little more.
Does Wednesday at 7 work for anyone else to do some meet and greet and character creation.

Brother Fen |

Awesome. I'd love to join. I currently have an engagement Wednesday so I won't be back until later around ten I believe. I'm on EST as well.
I am free tomorrow night if there's any chance of talking about a character then. I am free Friday night as well.
I sent you an email earlier so you can feel free to disregard that.

how the maneuvers/stances work is outlined in systems and uses
and the maneuvers and stances are here
But we can also discuss them on Wednesday.

Brother Fen |

Do you want us to come up with characters to be used for Iron Gods now or will this be a different set of characters? I would like to run something from Dreamscarred's psionic rules as I just picked up Ultimate Psionics this past month.
I am open to anything though. I've been playing on and off since the 1st edition days.

Inspired by reimagined Thundarr, I will be going with a half-giant Soulknife named Thundook Larriel.
Thundook Larriel was born to Marta and Griswood Larriel, half-giants from the mountains in Numeria. Descendants from a clan of Kellids interbred with enslaved stone giants, the half-giants of the clan were once treated no better than their forebearers. However, when a clan leader fell in love with one of the half-breeds, he declared an end to the enslavement of children born of free men, regardless of the nature of their birth. Over time, the freed half-giants truly became members of the clan, and today, the clan is known for its stock of large and firece warriors of both genders.
Griswood, as the clan's resident historian, has taught his son this history, and with it, a hatred for slavery and slavers, as well as a deeply burning hatred for the slavery of the mind. Thundook has taken this focus, and with it, unlocked his inner giant. He wields a weapon of pure thought.
Thundook sees the emperor's mental enslavement at the hands of the Technic League as the ultimate betrayal of Numeria, and will not rest until the Technic League- and their starborn robot masters- are put to rest(in Thundook's mind, the robots must be in control of the Technic League because of their complete lack of morality. ( A bit naive, but he's young after all.)

Very cool. I'm trying to decide between a spellcaster or gunslinger or something else entirely. lol
1. Keth the Starchaser - Spellslinger Tiefling
2. Gallimor the Swashbuckler from Beyond the Stars - Soulknife/Picaroon Swashbuckler multi-class
3. Pinafen the Tinker Gnome Pistolero
4. Falgar the Half-Elf Inquisitor
5. Sargon Ur - metal elementalist
6. Crocus Dani the Sorcerer with a nanite bloodline
7. Raban the Resourceful (bard archivist)
8. Thorvald the Liberator - kellid savage technologist barbarian
9. Cade Mooncaller - halfling oracle stargazer
10. Trancmar the Trustworthy - steel hound investigator
One of those should suffice.

Brother Fen |

Narrowing it down to three:
Falgar an half-elven sacred huntsman inquisitor of Brigh with a wolf companion determined to wipe the blight of the Technic League and their alien machines off the face of the Inner Sea.
Kuno the Psionic Half-Giant, a local half-giant psion metacreationist that is fascinated by the technology of Silver Mount and hopes to learn more about the Technic League and their abilities.
Crocus Dani the Nanite Bloodline sorcerer dedicated to learning the mysteries of Silver Mount.

Brother Fen |

I liked my half-giant psion idea so I decided to rework it and combine it with a few other ideas to come up with a completely new psion.
Siron of Torch is a psion metacreationist with the advanced astral construct, gunsmithing, and technologist feats. He has no melee abilities but has several knowledge skills and multiple psionic abilities.
Born of Kellid traders, Siron lives on the outskirts of Torch in the Numerian hills. His psionic abilities manifested at a young age resulting in his being labled a witch by the villagers.
Forced to stay in the forest outside of town, he lives a life of simple contemplation. Siron seeks nothing more than to live in harmony with the world around him.
One day on his way back from town, Siron was disgusted to come across members of the Technic League conscripting the locals into service. He used his abilities to drive the Technic League knights away and has lived in hiding since.
He is fascinated by technology and enjoys studying whatever artifacts he can find from Silver Mount. Siron wishes to live a quiet life, but feels that the Technic League will throw the world into chaos and must be brought to balance.
Siron makes frequent excursions into Torch where he plies his trade as an astronomer.

Brother Fen |

Here's my take on a pathfinder character. Sorcerer (seeker PF archtype) with the impossible bloodline.
Lore Baolo followed the stars to Numeria and the town of Torch. He has been fascinated with the otherworldly all of his life and is infatuated with the idea of learning the secrets of Silver Mount.
Lore's association with the Silver Crusade faction of the Pathfinder Society has brought him in direct opposition to the Technic League of Numeria.. He believes the secrets of Silver Mount belong to all of Golarion and will do what he can to break the Technic League's grip on their time-worn secrets.
