Im wanting to build a dwarf giant slayer specialist.
I think Swashbuckler (mouser) is worth a try for it's uniqueness.
Im' obviously going for slashing grace with this build… haven't decided on longsword or dwarf axe…although I'm always prone to swords, personally.
15 point build:
S 13 D 15 C 12 I 10 W 10 Ch 13
kinda bites a little bit because of the negative to charisma but I need at least a 13 cha and 13 str.
Im thinking of trading out hatred for giant hunter and picking up relentless and lore keeper swaps as well.
Weapon focus longsword for the feat at level 1
I can use a shortsword until level 3 when i pick up slashing grace.
I also though of some human cheese by taking the adopted feat (for my human bonus feat) allowing me to go into the dwarf racial feats like goblin cleaver, orc hewer and giant killer.
A hummie would look like this:
S 13 D (14)16 C 12 I 10 W 10 Ch 14
while stats are a little better and he would get more skill points,
he loses out on goblin/orc/giant fighting abilities.
I think dwarf is the way to go… especially because I want to play with that feat chain.
Any thoughts for the build?

I'd use either an axe or a pick to get the dwarf swashbuckler favored class bonus.
Probably worth thinking about Steel Soul as a first level feat to make up for the swashbuckler's poor saves.
wheres steel soul at?
+1 damage for every four levels vs. higher crit range, especially when eventually picking up improved critical….have to think about that…
I totally forgot pick would work, and doesn't even need to use special feats either! duh!

Start with a level of Gunslinger to get Grit, which is based on Wis. Then, Swashbuckler (Mouser), because the Grit and Panache pools will combine.
Maybe Bolt Ace, if you don't like guns.
1 Gunslinger (Bolt Ace) - Weapon Focus (Dwarven Axe)
2 Swashbuckler (Mouser)
3 Swashbuckler (Mouser) - Slashing Grace (Dwarven Axe)
Str 10 Dex ++ Wis ++ Dump Cha because the Panache is minimum 1
cheers

can't do dwarf axe as it doesn't get dwarf racial FCB for swashbuckler.
can't dump cha because for a swashbuckler, cha is used to count as int for feats that require int. (like combat expertise)

Heavy Pick 1d6 20/x4 +1 damage / 4 levels VS. Dwarven Waraxe 1d10 20/x3 +1 hit point per level
How is that a good trade?
Why do you want combat expertise? He could be wearing at least a breastplate maybe fullplate if you go Gun Tank instead of Bolt Ace.
There would be a couple of things that wouldn't work like Nimble, but the extra armor bonus easily overcomes it. And a couple of deeds, you can't use, but the really good deeds still work.
cheers

didn't say I would chose pick…. can still chose battle axe, by level 4 (about the time slashing grace comes on line) the battle axe is just as good (slightly better) than the war axe and by 8th level it's better.
Plus magic battle axes are much more likely to be found (magi marts aren't a thing in my groups)Also heavy pick doesn't require slashing grace to work.
freeing up feats for things like… I dunno… toughness (+1 hp per level)
So technically I can get both more damage AND more hp WITH a higher crit
so yea… dwarven war axe is about the worst choice, even IF you had magi marts.
I definitely wouldn't want medium/heavy armor because it's high dex character who specializes in 'dancing' around underneath the legs of bigger opponents.
so yea Im going to want to access my dex to ac and nimble
more likely to spend a feat on shield focus and/or combat expertise if I don't burn feats on trying to get slashing grace.
with the right choices the character can still have AC be relevant at levels when he actually fighting giants, which is what the character concept is all about,
If I wanted heavy armor, could simply go martial master fighter.
