Slashing Grace
Prerequisite(s): Dex 13, Weapon Finesse, Weapon Focus with chosen weapon.
Benefit: Choose one kind of one-handed slashing weapon (such as the longsword). When wielding your chosen weapon one-handed, you can treat it as a one-handed piercing melee weapon for all feats and class abilities that require such a weapon (such as a swashbuckler's or a duelist's precise strike) and you can add your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier to that weapon's damage. The weapon must be one appropriate for your size.
Does Slashing Grace work with a Kukri?
It works with a "one handed slashing weapon" - and a kukri is a slashing weapon you use in one hand.
Or does it not work because the kukri is classified as a "Light slashing weapon" rather than a "one handed slashing weapon"?
I'm leaning towards "does not work", but my inner power gamer is hoping I'm wrong (because it opens the door for Piranha Strike). :p

The belief is that Slashing grace ONLY works with 2 finesseable weapons (the dueling sword and the whip), for non swashbucklers.
The thought is that even though the weapon is wielded in one hand, with no benefit to being 2 handed, it is not a one handed weapon.
Talk to your GM, as they may see the light and allow it.

Since it specifically lists the longsword as an example, it is the game term 'one handed weapon'. Kukris are not valid for Slashing Grace.
This is further reinforced by the fact that the other two dex to damage feats, dervish dance and slashing grace, both use 1 handed weapons.
While not officially said anywhere (as far as I know), the general trend this establishes is that 'we do not like for it to be easy for dex to damage to work with TWF.'
Dervish dance itself tries to forbid TWF. Having options for 1 handed weapons only means that any attempt to TWF with them would get -4/-4 penaties.
The sawtooth saber does look like it works with slashing grace and TWF... but that is still another feat take on a chain that already needs 2-3 feats. And 2 of them require for you to have +1 BAB (which can be prohibitive to things like rogue, vivisectionist alchemist, etc.)...and it only actually works with a swashbuckler dip, since that is the only way to get dex to attack rolls with those weapons.

the feat specifically called out LONGSWORD in writing as working with the feat.

Dafydd likely meant that you can only get both Weapon Finesse and Slashing Grace to work together on those two weapons if you're not a Swashbuckler or Daring Cavalier.

Grab Martial Versatility if you can, it's a good way to turn slashing grace into a feat that gives you dex to damage with a wide variety of weapons. The problem being that it takes a lot of feats to pull off and therefore isn't really worth it until you get Martial Mastery which gives your weapon focus, weapon specialization, improved critical and etc. feats to all weapons in the same weapon group. Kukri is a light blade and the only one handed things in there are rapier and sword cane unfortunately so it is not possible currently. However thanks to the nine ring broadsword with this combo you get dex to damage with all weapons in the heavy blades and monk weapon categories.
