I was recently put in a high level game where I was in competition with other PCs with god hood as a prize
The game was put on an indefinite hold due to personal issues on the part of the DM
In the interm and just because I like this kind of stuff I was looking at the next task, which involved creatures with unbypassable regeneration
In a game where such could be afforded my answer to this is the clay golem because of their cursed wound special ability
The only problem is that at this level clay golems are too fragile
The enhancements I've already given it are upgrading it to an armored clay golem (gm ruled it cost the amount for adamanite full plate for it's size, and threw in the DR as well)
A construct heart (+1 HP per HD, +1 to fort saves)
The shield guardian template (pricy but the "controlled" ability is almost worth it on it's own and the fast healing is useful)
And a shield rune (1 immediate action shield spell in response to being successfully hit)
Money is no object, what else can I give it?

Stick an acid version of the Cloak of Immolation on it. Alternatively just cast acid fog centered on it when it's in combat.
Give it minions, Animated Objects can look like and be useful for just about anything and any monster that's unconscious can be finished off later, presuming the clay golem's curse wound thing works. An animated object with the flight special and made of adamantine is pretty good at providing cover and shrugging off damage (hardness 20).
The rules for the stuff you've done are next to rules which let you add hit dice, improve attacks, increase abilities cores, and improve natural armor.
Give it magic items, an enhancement bonus to natural armor still works on a golem, as do ioun stones and any other magic item you can fit on it that still works.
Strap a bunch of Explosive runes to it, it's immune to the damage and the enemies aren't. Write 'em in Aklo.

As the language of aberrations and evil things it's often listed as the language known for critters that don't speak. Alternatively, put it in auran and have a summoned air elemental fly up and read it when the golem gets close to the monster. Slight risk the items the golem is wearing will be damaged, so have a care.
Another fun side-effect of a big ol' flying adamantine shield-critter is it makes a decent way to ride in style when you're out and about on the town.
The main issue with constructs is they're weak, and as they get higher CR they get bigger (sucks when you're going underground) and they just don't keep up with other monster types. On the flip side, regeneration only matters if the critter can still move or if you literally cannot stop it. If Cursed wound works on the beast, you can have an under-powered cheapo clay golem bringing up the rear just slowly chipping away and finishing monsters you and your other power-minions knocked into negative double or triple digits.
ANOTHER other option is to just seal the beast, in stone or the astral or a demiplane. Bonus points if you delete the demiplane they were in and the critter is lost forever in time and space.
My personal favorite way of finishing off the Tarrasque is Trap the Soul, which can be done by 15th level and with a trigger object offers neither save nor spell resistance. Then you have a 30(?)k gem with the body and soul of an unkillable monstrous engine of destruction in the palm of your hand just begging to be used as a power source or gift to some god of strength.
"It is adorable, I shall name if fluffy and keep it forever. Be blessed by me."
Sorry, this is getting a bit tangential, the point is constructs are tools and it's all about the right tool for the job.
