Yeah, at first I wasn't sure about 30 minute limits, but it seems to be working.

I find the 30 min episodes, just perfect. I think over time 1h episodes would bring repetitiveness in the plot. On the other hand, the 30 min format gives us our weekly dose of gore and comedy with just enough plot developpement to get us hooked and wanting for more :)

An interesting bit of delving further into the book's origins. Makes me wonder if the Lucy Lawless character is either a modern member of that ancient group, or of a different group who fights the other one.

Or, and this is me getting all conspiracy, what if the Lucy Lawless character is a descendant of....Ash?!? I haven't seen them mention anything about the stuff from Army of Darkness. What if Ash fathered a child while their, and now has descendants? Only he doesn't remember that trip to the past, because of how he returned.
