Dragon Disciple / Draconic Sorceror and Form of the Dragon - Breath Weapon Strength

Rules Questions

Hi all,

I have a Sorc/DD that's just gained his daily use of Form of the Dragon. While checking out the stats for this spell, I noticed that the Form of the Dragon breath weapon is considerably weaker (8d6) than the one gained from my Bloodline and Dragon Disciple levels (12d6).

My question is, once I've used the one breath weapon use from FotD, do I still have the option of using one of my Sorc/DD breath weapons at their original strength, or would they be weakened as long as I was in dragon form?

You track the two breath weapons separately.

A sorcerer 5/dragon disciple 7 gains the use of a 12d6 breath weapon 2x/day at any time. While using the Dragon Form ability, the character gains an "extra" breath weapon use, but at 6d8 and only useable while the Dragon Form ability is in effect (as per form of the dragon I).

Got it, thanks very much.
