Poor vision rules (Or: Eyeglasses = Useless)?

Rules Questions

Alright, so, according to the OGC, there are Eyeglasses in the Adventurer's Armory book (which I don't happen to have). To quote:

Quote:
Also known as spectacles, eyeglasses compensate for poor vision or magnify small details.

Now, I've scoured every book I have, the OGC, and the PRD itself. Perhaps I'm missing something, but...

Are there rules for poor vision, and thus needed glasses? Or are they just some sort of... Vanity item?

Couldn't even find anything in 3.5 or 3.0 on it.

There aren't rules for being dirty either, but I always buy soap.

It's third party, but somebody thunk it up!

I haven't seen anything. But if you wanted to you could just house-rule it to say the character permanently has the Dazzled condition which is alleviated by wearing spectacles.

The oracle curse Clouded Vision simulates really, really bad eyesight (cataracts). Spectacles don't help with that condition though.
