Empower Holy Water, Outsiders, and potions

Holy Water damages outsiders. Empower holy water does not say anything about outsiders, however, as it is modifying something that does, and with an energy that can damage outsiders [transmutation(good)] this spell should work on them.

That said, this should be a cash crop for alchemist. Anyone dealing with undead or evil outsiders should be going for that extra damage.

And for the way potions are priced, it should be a Much better buy.

Since there is no spell called holy water you cannot use empower spell on it. The spell bless water is used to create holy water so empower does not work on it. Bless water has no variables it creates a single flask of holy water. Only the spell itself can be empowered not the side effects of the spell. This would be the same as casting an empowered masterwork transformation, which is to say no effect.

Because Empower Holy Water only says it boosts the damage vs undead, that's all it does. It grants no extra damage vs Evil Outsiders.

And I'm not sure why you'd want a potion of it, either.
