I'm a bit confused about the Greater Status spell from the Pathfinder Chronicles - Campaign Setting.
According to its description, it is from the Community domain only (no other cleric can cast it!), but the Community domain as described in the Core Rulebook doesn't even mention it.
I am failing to understand if the Greater Status spell is an "official" Pathfinder spell or not. Any insight is much appreciated.

Pathfinder Chronicles - Campaign Setting is, technically speaking, not a "Pathfinder RPG" book. It is an OGL DND 3.5 book that that came out in 2008 and pre-dates the stand-alone game known as "Pathfinder RPG" which was launched in 2009. It's a 3rd party add-on to Wizard of the Coast's DND 3.5.
These OGL 3.5 books are often allowed by Pathfinder RPG GMs, but you need to take them with a grain of salt as the rules and mechanics in these OGL 3.5 books don't always match up with the "Pathfinder RPG" rules and mechanics.
If you actually have a copy of the Pathfinder Chronicles - Campaign Setting, you'll see that on pages 158 and 159, they give the Cleric Domains for the Golarion major deities (then start describing the deities beginning with Abadar and Asmodeus on page 160).
The Community Domain in this pre-Pathfinder RPG book is as follows:
Granted Power: Cast Calm Emotions 1/d as a spell-like ability. +2 competence bonus on Diplomacy checks.
Domain Spells: 1-Bless, 2-Status, 3-Prayer, 4-Greater Status, 5-Telepathic Bond, 6-Heroes' Feast, 7-Refuge, 8-Sympathy, 9-Mass Heal
The other Cleric Domains given also have differences from the later Pathfinder RPG Cleric Domains.
The spell "Greater Status" appears in a section entitled "Domain Spells". As far as I know, Paizo never re-published Greater Status in Pathfinder RPG. I don't know if they simply didn't see a need for it, deliberately dropped it for some reason, or over-looked it. Only someone who was around in those heady days when Paizo decided to strike out on its own and make its own separate RPG could possibly answer that question.
So, strictly speaking, Greater Status is NOT a Pathfinder RPG spell as it does not appear in any Pathfinder RPG book, blog or other publication. And even if a GM would allow it as a Pathfinder RPG spell, it no longer appears on any caster's list as a spell that can be selected.
So, if you really, really like the spell, ask your GM. He might allow it as an alternate 4th level Community Domain Spell (make a permanent swap with whatever Community Domain normally gets as a 4th level spell), or he might even turn it into a general Cleric spell (perhaps you can research it?). I glanced at the spell, it seems innocuous, but maybe there's some way for a power-gamer to break it.
