My son and I just leveled our characters form 4 to 5 and need to pick up a feat before our session in about 12 hours. Looking for tips.
Level 5 Barbarian
Feat 1-Exotic Weapon Prof-Falcata
Feat 1 Human-Power Attack
Feat 3-Combat Reflexes
He is currently considering Cleave (followed by Greater Cleave) or Dodge (followed by Mobility and Spring Attack) but since he is also going up the Beast Totem Rage Power line and will get Pounce at level 10, which of these work better with that?
Level 5 Cleric
Feat 1-Selective Channeling
Feat 1 Human-Extra Channel
Feat 3-Turn Undead
He is trying to build his Cleric as a Channeler/Undead killer. I have not had much time to help him research his feat choices and have no idea. Looking for something that helps his channeling ability (either to heal or deal damage to Undead), or something else altogether that might help deal with those pesky skeletons. Also, I understand that a channel focus is not the optimal build but he's 9 years old and thats what he likes doing and it has been very helpful so far in our scenarios. An outside choice is something that will help his summon monster spells....like Spell Focus Conjuration followed by AUgmented Summoning?
