On the Other Hand lets make a Leprechaun PC

Advice

I am going to be playing a Leprechaun character in a level 5 game.
Now of course I feel the Bard class fits the race best, given his many Bard Cantrips as Spell like abilities.
Now I am taking two levels of CR, which are gonna add the HD of the creature to equal my HP for those levels, using the Fey racial skills and skill points for those levels. So at an ECL 5 I am gonna have 3 class levels.

Now I was thinking a Bard would be nice but I am open to some other options. The character is going to be a cast out former royal Leprechaun, such as a prince of the Leprechauns who was cast out after a rebellion of another set of Leprechauns.

But I am not against other ideas, so feel free to spout out some cool ideas.

The -2 to Str likely means this build is gonna need a Dex to Damage weapon style.

I like the trickster klepto feel of the leprechauns but I also like the movie version of the leprechauns (steal his gold and he kills you)

Neither one of them seem to fit the 'royalty' feel

the link you linked being the trickster one says they live solitary or at most a family of 7-10

that's why I say they don't feel like royalty

but however it is your char you know what you want lol

I think bard would work well as well

You could always go for the arcane trickster path

I am more going off the feel of Darby O'gill and the Little People movie, the more classical take on the Leprechauns.

I think the Bard fits best, and yes I could go Arcane Trickster.

Being a Trickster or mostly being found in families does not imply they do not have a hierarchy of some sort. Drow have a society and have leaders, but their bands according to the bestiary has them limited to something like 10 people.
