I just got back into RPG with pathfinder. I would like to try a play by post that i saw on this site earlier and needed a little info
1 I cant find the play by post listings any more. where are they?
2 thinking about pace, how long do these take? im i on my computer for hours on end? are players posting every few seconds or....
3 do i just use my registered character and copy all of his info from paper to the about box?
4 I'm not the sharpest kid around when it comes to computers and messageboards and what-not. is there room for a moron in any of these games. do i need any other tools to use in/with the message board? I saw lots of hide and spoiler buttons. it scared me.
thanks

In regards to the Play by post.
1 - moot as you found the threads.
2 - Accepted pace is usually about 1 post per day.
3 - Using herolab, or any other character generator, you create a character and using the stat block, submit for the campaign of your choice.
NOTE that you may not get selected for a campaign or senario, so the principle is pateience and try and try again.
4 - on the response box at the bottom of where you are typing, it shows how to format your text. You use these in the course of the play by post.

As for #3.
Just getting all the necessary info across is key. Most people don't require a specific format (though I have seen it happen). Some use spoilers to make it less like a wall-o-text, some don't. You can ask the DM you're applying to if they have a preference. They probably won't.
Also: pay attention to requirements. I've seen good characters left by the wayside because their creators didn't pay attention to what the DM required in character creation.
