Abyssal Bloodline

Advice

I'm curious about something: In the description, it states that abyssal bloodline sorcerers have a demon ancestor numerous generations in the past.
What I'm curious about is if it would be possible within lore to simply have a character who's demon blood is more directly related?

In other words: Can I play an Abyssal Sorcerer half-orc who's other half is demon?

Well, Half-Orcs are specifically Orc/Human hybrids; one possibility would be to have a half-orc with one half-orc parent and the other being a demon.

But yeah, this is all flavor/roleplaying, nothing in the crunch would prevent this.

Probably. Arachnofiend is right about the human thing, but I doubt anyone would really mind. If your GM was really a stickler about the biology, maybe the demon-daddy was shapeshifted into a human when he did the deed.

Okay, shiny. Thanks much. I'll go run the idea by the GM and hope he accepts it.

So long as there's no expectation of mechanical benefit (given that half-fiend is a template), then it ought to be alright.

maibe not half orc/half demon, but you could be a tiefling (half human/half demon)
