Hi we I have a couple of rules questions.
1. How is poison damage different from regular? Is does it affect the character on his next turn.
2. If I have two one handed weapons ex: cutlass and pistol can I use both on a encounter? I don't think we can but would like clarification since some cards say one-hand and some say two
3. Is the Blessing deck worth nothing more than a countdown timer or can you obtain cards from it after the first turn? I am figuring its just a countdown but want to be sure.
Thanks is advance for the help.

Generally different types of damage just affect what powers and armor you can use to reduce them. If an armor says it reduces "combat damage" then it doesn't work on poison damage. Some armors will say "Combat or Poison damage" some will say "all damage" or just "damage."
You can only play one card that says "for your combat check" on your combat check. That card defines your check. Unless you're playing a character like Seytiel (who can recharge cards for a bonus), that's all you get.
The blessings deck is basically just a timer. You can't acquire those cards, though using a card that matches the face-up card will allow you to recharge it instead of discarding it.

Hi and welcome to PACG! Here are some quick answers for you.
1. Poison is a type of damage and interacts with some cards. Most prominently, Undead are immune to Poison, meaning that you cannot use powers that would add the Poison trait to a check against them. If you are dealt Poison damage, you can only reduce it with powers that reduce Poison or Any damage. Poison doesn't affect a character's next turn unless the power says it does.
2. You are correct. You can only use one power that defines the skill you use for a check. In the case of Weapons and Spells, they say "For your Combat check," and you can only use one such power. Other powers that add to a check can be added later.
3. Correct again. The Blessing Deck is only ever a counter and you cannot attempt to acquire the Blessings.

Hi we I have a couple of rules questions.
1. How is poison damage different from regular? Is does it affect the character on his next turn.
The kind of damage you are dealt will affect the cards you can play to reduce it. An armor that has a power that reduces Combat damage, won't reduce Poison damage. Note though that lots of armors also have a power to reduce "all damage" which means the type of damage doesn't matter.
2. If I have two one handed weapons ex: cutlass and pistol can I use both on a encounter? I don't think we can but would like clarification since some cards say one-hand and some say two.
You can only play 1 card to determine which skill you are using. Cards that say "For your combat check..." determine which skill you are using for you combat check, so you can only play 1 of them on a check. See the "attempting a check" sequence on pages 11-13 for more info.
The two-handed trait will often affect which armors you can play. Shields, for instance, often say you may not play them if you played a weapon with the Two-Handed trait.
3. Is the Blessing deck worth nothing more than a countdown timer or can you obtain cards from it after the first turn? I am figuring its just a countdown but want to be sure.
It is mostly a timer. You can't directly acquire cards from it. It can also interact with some banes, which tell you to look at the top card of the blessing deck, and if you play a blessing that matches the top card, it can often be recharged instead of discarded.

Thank you so much. As for the blessing deck when you draw blessings of the gods it automatically matches the top card. So does that mean you can forever recharge them and never run out of cards. That doesn't sound right but the card says always matches the top card.
No, BotG doesn't recharge, even when it duplicates the powers of the top card. If forget the exact text, but it should indicate that on the BotG. There was an issue with how they worded it in RotR, so they actually changed the wording.
