Should There Be a Divine Caster wtih Arcanist-style Spellcasting

Should there be a divine caster with Arcanist-style spellcasting? I think it would be cool. Divine spell lists are less powerful than the sorcerer/wizard spell list, so I think there would be less concern over breaking the game. And the ability to swap out a spell would produce less of a silver-bullet mage effect.

This is called a Shaman, and already exists. Check the new class book. Has a spellbook and everything.

I believe he means "prepares spells per day, and then casts those spells as if they were spontaneous". Which, no, the Shaman does not do.

OP, I imagine they wouldn't make such a class mechanic because it would be like the God Wizard on crack. Each day you would have access to your whole divine spell list (which is admittedly slightly weaker than the Wizard spell list by design due to this versatility of having all the spells known) and the ability to pick what you want from that list, and then use whichever you want as you need to.

Now, questions of how reasonable it would be aside, I'd love something like this. The specialization of a spontaneous divine spellcaster and the versatile toolbox of a prepared divine spellcaster put together would be super neat.

Thanks Seranov- I like the Oracle, but the spells known are fairly limiting. The role of cleric/oracle/druid/shaman calls for access to the entire class spell list in my opinion, which the Oracle loses. A divine Arcanist-style caster could scribe scrolls of useful spells that are only need every other adventure or so, and select buff, summon, and cure spells. An Arcanist and arcanist-style divine caster could plan ahead, to make sure they have spells and scrolls prepared to cover all the bases.
