Alpha Stress Test Delayed until at least Monday the 29th

We have determined that the problem with desynchs and people being teleported out of Thornkeep is a blocker to starting the Stress Test. We're going to work on that problem today and as a result we're not going to start the Stress Test today.

The earliest we can start the Stress Test will be Monday the 29th but we won't know when we can start it until we fix this issue.

I'll update this thread as more info becomes available.

it was a godsend when I got teleported out of TK though. I haven't had any issues beyond that. I went to... the desert town.

Update:

We have enough people in the game now to be getting as much useful data about system load as we need. At this time we're holding at the current player population level and working on identifying the causes of the known system bottlenecks. Once we have built and tested some fixes for those issues we will return to adding more users to the Stress Test.

We have not invited Open, Explorer or Early Enrollees into the Stress Test yet.
