Hey. Look at the bright side! Crafting times are WAAYYY down, I outran two pursuers, got tons of smelted mats for my fellow Dwarves to craft awesome armor and weapons, and have a hoard of cash of nearly 14 silver! I could almost buy a pony!
Ignore the whiners! They are jealous because they can't afford a pony!

Tbh most people stay clear of alpha for a good reason. Last game I tested burnt me out in no time and the "will to log in" deserted me for either a long time or permanently tbh, hence I'm not in PFO Alpha. Also getting my computer sorted (graphics card, RAM and Win7 OS and borrowing a decent screen and throwing away the bad screen I got off ebay).

These 'ol bones remember ye, yup them do, 'lil elfie. Ye see me ain't too familiar with how this magic Alpha be a'workin' but me wise enough to know not to listen to the voices of the commoners! Yer ears will fall right off if ye listen to that lot chatter about! Make ye own opinion and tell those common folk to piss off, like 'ol Buurz!

<snif, snif> It's a little early, Buurz, but don't mind if I do.
I agree, don't let the big A get you down. There are quite a lot of people getting ready to hop into EE, and I think many are here to have fun despite any game growing/building pains. Once the in-game community builds up, it will also be easier to avoid forum fatigue.

... don't let the big A get you down.
By "the big A", do you mean the Alpha?
Beta Burnout is a fairly common illness for mmo addicts, or should I say players. First you soar on that high then you crash. A couple of weeks break should fix it.
I like that "mmo addicts, or should I say players" :)
Although my personal experience of following the development of Pathfinder Online closely for almost three years without significant break* may not be "normal", I agree that a bit of a break may help.
* It's pretty easy for me to determine what my average number of posts per day is, but I'm suddenly very curious about the maximum number of days (might actually need to measure hours) I've gone without posting.

Interestingly enough my appetite for PFO still grows, and it makes me chuckle to see the gem forming bright in the developers' hands as they cut and polish.
Not to mix metaphors, oh no, not me... Will my appetite grow satisfied? If so, I'll push myself away from the table and take a little nap. When I awake, don't be surprised to catch me at the open refrigerator door sneaking another bite ;)

Like what's been hinted at, no need to "burn" yourself out during Alpha. Take a break for a week, or simply just take a good deep breath. For every opinionated fool, there is an abundant amount of non-fools to enjoy in the friendly atmosphere with.
I personally play a few rounds of TF2 when I feel I've gotten too much of PFO for the moment.
