What if you stop qualifying for a prestige class?

Rules Questions

For the synthesist, say you take the evolution that gives you proficiency with all martial weapons and prestige into eldritch knight. You then use transmogrify and are no longer proficient with all martial weapons. Do you lose the PrC features until you get it back?

More generally, many PrC have feat prerequisites. What happens if you retrain a required feat after taking levels in a PrC?

Sovereign Court

You lose the benefits of the prc as soon as you don't qualify for it.

Is there an FAQ for that? I would think it's gray. For example, eldritch knight gives you bonus feats. Do you lose them as well even though you still qualify for them?

You can't do this.

Ultimate Campaign:
The old feat can’t be one you used as a prerequisite for a feat, class feature, archetype, prestige class, or other ability.

I would say these rules apply.

Grand Lodge

You lose everything save the HD, BAB and Save adds, and skills. You lose all class features, including the advances in spellcasting.

The PrC even at full bore, does not progress your eidolon at all.

Interesting. Thanks everyone!
