I was wondering if I (a pc with craft construct) made a golem with the young template, how it would effect the price to make it?
I would also like to see everyone's opinion on a cleric focusing on construct building and construct armor. It would be using a adamantine golem with the young template with my pc wearing a ring of constant enlarge person so that he can wear the golem as armor while tanking hits for the party, any ideas to expand on this?
Young Creature (CR –1): Creatures with the young template are immature specimens of the base creature.As there is no immature versions of constructs thus this template shouldn't be able to be added to constructs.
As RAW there is no adjustment to price with the young template.

As for cleric construct building pathfinder did away with all the associated problems by allowing a +5 to DC with item creation feats.
The DC to create a magic item increases by 5 for each prerequisite the caster does not meet.So any spells your divine caster is missing can be mitigated by adding +5 to the spellcraft DC.

A adamantine golem costs 600,000gp. If you are in a game where you can get this, I am going to guess your DM is going to allow you to apply the young template. DR 15/epicYou could make a medium adamantine statue armor construct for 53,000gp and get similar results for "tanking". DR/20 (CR 3 * 6 CP * 1000gp +35,000=53,000)
First of all the young template specifically says that " You can also use this simple template to easily create a smaller variant of a monster." second do you have any ideas for this build?
