Long Distance Communication

Rules Questions

I wanted to make sure this is correct:
Lets say you wanted to have long distance communication w/o telepathically bonding yourself to another person.
Since Telepathic Bond is a divination spell, you could bond two homuncului and make it permanent.
This would cost you more 4100gp (2050 if you build them yourselves) more than just a permanent telepathic bond spell, but you wouldn't have someone else yammering in your head all the time and if you had magic that protect you're mind this would still be usable.
---
Are there any easier ways for long distance communication?

Probably this should be in advice, not rules.

Spells you are looking for are...
- Dream. (Or minor Dream)
- Sending.
- Planar Binding / ally on something with teleport.

That's without really trying too hard...

I was asking here because I wanted to make sure that you could use a telepathic bond on a construct. Construct are immune to charm/enchantment spells, I didn't know if there was a rule somewhere that prevented constructs from being contacted telepathically.

You mentioned spells, those require you to be a spell caster or having expensive magical items, a 1/day sending item would cost 11,200gp and only confer 25 words (but could be used to contact anyone). While the homuncului telepathic bond would cost 16,500 and could be used at will (and you get two homuncului).
