Trying to make sure I'm totally ready for this... new-ish GM here, thinking of running Mummy's Mask as my first AP. Just in the interest of making sure that I'm totally prepared, are there any of the pre-printed map supplies that are particularly useful to have for this Path?

Hi,
wishing you the best and lots of fun running MM (I do).
not sure about flip-maps..BUT have a look at this thread. I have been using these maps and Im VERY happy.

I use the interactive maps that came with the purchased PDFs. Then again I run on a VT.

I would be intrestd how you do this and what the involved costs are...would you also be able to post a picture or two?
Thanks
Oh, shoot... I wasn't clear with my question. I didn't mean for handling the plot maps for the individual tombs and such, I was more asking for the cases where there isn't a map provided (random encounters in the necropolis/desert, the psychopomps in Adv.2, etc.).

Thanks Ahem, I meant online in that regard. I do own a projector though and a pretty nice camera stand, would be interesting if I did do this.
I did think about buying a 4K TV for around 750 to use as a battle mat a few months ago, but then decided against it.
I've thought about buying the Desert Ruins flip map for my upcoming campaign, but It seems to have limited replay ability. I already have a collection of map packs and I'm planning on using the taverns, shops, market, etc for the smaller city encounters. For the big set-pieces, I use Tact-Tiles, which have seen a lot of use in our home in the last ten years or so. I pre-draw the maps and reveal them a tile or two at a time. They were out of production forever, but there is a Kickstarter right now for a new run.
Flip mats that would be good for random wilderness encounters in this one would be "Desert", "Desert Ruins" and the b-side of "Battlefield". For actual dungeon crawling, it'd be best to just use a blank one and draw walls and such as needed.
I've used Desert, Marketplace, Village Square, and a few artistic street scene maps when I've needed them. I like the idea of using the b-side of Battlefield and I'll probably adopt that for next time.

While not directly on point, I would also like to point out that the new Social Combat Deck is particularly well suited for use in Vol 3 of the Mummy's Mask (and elsewhere, as you may prefer).
